Last year, I met a boy a little bit younger than me that has medulloblastoma. Our parents have known each other since we were babies. He went through aggressive chemo, surgery, and came out happy and ready to start over. He found out there are new spots in his spine and his brain. Prognosis unknown. He’s only 8. My brother is 8 and cancer runs in our family. It could have been him.
